NearBuy is one of the largest online platforms in India that connects the customer with online merchants to explore deals and discounts on services like spa, saloon, and dine-in at a bar or fine restaurants. The platform has over 50,000 merchants with over 1 lac unique locations and over a million users across India.

Problem Statement/Short Brief
Despite having a good number of downloads, the client was facing issues with the user interface and experience.

Our Solutions:
To gather more organic in-the-moment feedback, our usability expert team performed an audit of the app. This enabled us to the identification of “usability errors” that were causing issues to the app interface and user experience.

Next step, we asked a set of users to use the application and report the problems they were facing while searching for deals or other offers. We developed pixel-perfect recordings of the screen for later analysis.

Our testing experts observed the videos that gave us insight into the glitches and performance issues. We also observed the customer’s behavior for their different activities, search and allowed us to look deeper into the application. The testing team developed a report of the complete analysis and shared it with the client. As a result, the interface was improvised according to the recommendations made for the app development.


The whole testing procedure was carried out using a comprehensive Usability Test Dashboard that included a step-by-step guide from the test objective to the participants, tasks list, responsibilities, and equipment.
